How does Karvé work?
Place your knife flat on the magnetic angle guide. Then roll the Karvé sharpener along the blade from heel to tip — the diamond wheel does all the work. A few passes on each side and your knife is sharp. No skill, no mess, no fuss.
Is it safe to use?
Yes, completely safe. The magnetic guide holds your knife at a fixed angle throughout — no awkward gripping, no risk of slipping. You never touch the blade directly. Just place, roll, and lift. Thousands of customers use it every day without any issues.
Is it easy to use — even if I've never sharpened a knife before?
Completely. No skill, no technique, no mess. Place your knife on the magnetic guide, roll Karvé along the blade a few times, and you're done. Sharp in under 60 seconds — first time, every time. If you can roll a tin of beans, you can use Karvé.
Will it work on my kitchen knives?
Yes. Karvé works on virtually every kitchen knife with a smooth edge — chef's knives, carving knives, santoku, and more. The only exception is serrated blades like bread knives. If your knife has a straight edge, Karvé will sharpen it.
What sharpening angles does it support?
Karvé sharpens at both 15° and 20°. Not sure which to use? Go with 20° — it's the best all-round angle for everyday kitchen knives and lasts longer between sharpenings. Use 15° if you have high-quality Japanese or Damascus steel knives.
How long does sharpening take?
Most knives are sharp in under 60 seconds. A very dull knife may take 2–3 minutes. Once sharp, a quick 30-second touch-up every few weeks keeps the edge in perfect condition.
How long will the diamond coating last?
The embedded diamond abrasive is designed to last 1,000+ sharpenings under normal home use. That's years of daily use for most households.
How long does delivery take?
We dispatch all UK orders within 1 working day. Standard delivery takes 2–4 working days. You'll receive a tracking link by email once your order has been dispatched.
Is shipping free?
Yes — delivery is always free across the UK. No minimum order, no hidden fees.
Can I return it if I'm not happy?
Yes. We offer a 30-day return policy on unused and unopened products. If you change your mind before trying Karvé, contact us at support@karveofficial.com and we'll arrange the return. Please note that we are unable to accept returns on used products.
My order hasn't arrived — what do I do?
First, check your tracking link sent by email when your order was dispatched. If your order is more than 5 working days late, email us at support@karveofficial.com with your order number and we'll investigate straight away.
Can I order as a gift?
Absolutely — Karvé makes a brilliant gift. It arrives in premium packaging, ready to give. If you'd like a gift note included, just mention it in the order notes at checkout.
